Being a hockey fan I have been keeping an eye on the Stanley Cup Finals. So far the home team has won all three games. If this keeps up and it is all home ice winners, Vancouver will win it in seven. Which means that not only does Boston have to win the next game at home, they some how have to steal a win on the road. Whereas Vancouver is not invincible on their home ice, the Canucks now 9-3 at home Nashville having won twice and Chicago once, this has proven to be a not so easy task. I have some questions for our two contenders. They are as follows: To Vancouver: Can you recover from this thrashing and get back on track, act like it never happened? The last time the Canucks got beat like this, the Blackhawks beat them 7-2. They (the Blackhawks) then proceeded to win the next two games tying the series at three each before Vancouver recovered and won game seven in O.T. If they follow suit and lose the next two games they will put themselves in the position Boston is in now. Having to win one more on the road, so they may force a game seven at home. To Boston: I have seen games in which teams have offensive outputs like the one the Bruins put up in game three. I have also seen that same team have a hard time scoring the following game. Question: Is this a flash in the pan game, did you leave it all on the ice this time? or Can you continue to dominate the rest of the series?
