As life goes on, I am back to working on my fat to flat routines. It is going pretty good. I have combined several routines so that I do not get bored with doing the same thing week in and week out. I believe that is why most people do not keep up their workouts.
When it comes to dieting I do not push myself to eat only certain things all the time. The problem with most diets is, again, people get bored with the routine of eating only certain foods at certain times. I am a firm believer that people can accomplish their goals a lot easier, if they are not too hard to keep up. Take it all in stride, baby steps to be exact.
Example I have cut sweets back to maybe once a week. You must understand I am one of those that loved to eat while I watch T.V. It happens that most of the shows I like come on at eight o’clock or later. So this was very harmful any healthy living style. Most of those times it was a late night bowl of ice cream. Maybe I would even exchange that for cereal or yogurt. The yogurt being small I could never limit myself to one. Any way I no longer eat anything after nine, and seldom eat anything after eight and I haven’t had anything as heavy as ice cream in quite some time. My favorite sweet lately is a cup of coffee from a coffee-house. I like the Mexican Mocha and the Milano. I will admit the other day I broke down and had a Reese’s with my lunch.
I have also cut fried foods back to very seldom. The whole idea here is that I may not lose weight for a couple of days, but I am not going to gain it back either.
My point is, I don’t eat like I used to and I get some exercise to boot.
I almost forgot….You can’t get frustrated if you don’t hit your goal right away. Do not let frustration and impatience be your downfall.
