Yeah, yeah, yeah, here I am again to entice your senses. No! I am not putting my Reese’s peanut butter cup up to the computer. I am talking about your minds. I have blogged about my book “Versus” before and I have come up with a different name (for now) “A Comparison of My Thoughts.” (MAYBE) Anyway the most recent chapter is about Possibility VS. Probability. In most cases this should be an easy pick. Just because something is possible, it is not necessarily probable. For instance at work promotions are always possible, but not always probable. It is conceivable though that if something is probable it is more than possible, it is likely.
Now, it is possible to break it down further. That would more than likely make it probable that you will find thoughts or opinions (you see how I worked in that other chapter there) on how something could be probable and not possible. I am not sure it is possible for something to be probable if it is not possible so the previous statement is probably wrong.
Possible: being something that may or may not occur, having an indicated potential.
Probable: supported be evidence strong to establish presumption, but not proof, likely to be or become true or real.
WOW, something that may or may not occur…strong enough to establish presumption. Not as far apart as one might think. Of course this is only my opinion, and the facts of the matter may or may not be real to others. I will definitely have to explore this more.
