As I chase down places I used to go, I start to wonder if I am chasing an old feeling that I miss. Am I chasing a memory of a different time? Even still I may be chasing the memory of a feeling. As I sort through those feelings and memories, I come across some I wish to forget. Then again I tell myself, “forgotten memories are lessons unlearned”. I do feel this happens a lot of the time to most of us. It is a choice we make as we wish to forget the thoughts and memories that make us feel sad, unloved, maybe even inadequate.
None of us ever wants to think we were not good enough for someone else to love. This type of experience can make us feel defeated and drive our self-esteem into the bowels of our soul. We must remember, love is a two way street. Love only stops flowing all together when both sides are closed. A bad relationship or two does not make us a bad person. Remember everyone makes mistakes. You just need to find the perfect fit.
You may have to reach deep down and grab your self-esteem by the collar and bring it back to the surface. In my opinion once you have attained that, you may achieve anything you wish.
